Yes, I'm back on my blog and this time I shall be trying really hard to start building it up and making regular posts. I was doing ok with getting started here but then my holiday was coming up and my attention went to that.
So, after a wonderful holiday to Fueturventura, I decided I needed to make a proper start on my Christmas cards as I only had a couple done already.
This inevitably for me meant a trip to The Range to stock up on Christmas goodies. As always it was a successful shopping trip resulting in lots of new ribbons, papers and clear stamps. Then the other day I decided my selection of gems and pearls was too limited and so hit Amazon to order more. An hour later and I had managed to order more than 14,100 new pearls and gems - what the hell I'm gonna do with that many I don't know but it was cheaper to buy in bulk so that was that and now I'm waiting for them all to come in the post. You know, I really think I may have an addiction to craft materials lol.
Anyway, I've been busy with the Christmas cards and getting on nicely making some decent progress. Add to that a birthday card and its safe to say I'm back into the swing of card making after my holiday. Just as well given the huge quantity of gems currently winging themselves my way.

For this card, I layered patterned paper onto white cardstock, embellished with layers of lace and ribbon before adding a doily and a 3d teapot topper from a set with sequins in it. I then added a cup and some roses as further embellishments and finished by adding 'Happy Birthday' and 'A Special Mum' sentiments that I made on the computer.

Best Wishes Pink Hearts Wedding Card
I made this card for a friend and fellow card maker who got married recently. As I have sent the card after the wedding wishing them happiness in their marriage, I chose to do it as a best wishes card rather than a traditional wedding day card.
I used a square, 6 x 6 card blank and then layered patterned paper squares. I added white ribbon and lace before die-cutting a series of hearts from patterned heart paper using my heart nestability set. To finish, I used a wedding cake card topper that I had in my stash along with a Best Wishes and With Love sentiments and completed with 2 pearl hearts from my stash.

Pretty Princess Things
Pretty Princess Things card. This card is all about being girly and my favourite girly colour - pink. I used a 6 x 6 white scalloped edge card blank and layered patterned patter onto a piece of white card stock. I layered ribbon across my paper and then attached my panel to the card blank before adding a die cut scalloped oval which I topped with my pretty princess things topper from a set I bought. I then added ribbon bows, die cut buttons, little toppers, gems and glitter as embellishments and a 'Birthday Girl' sentiment.

"Gorjuss with love" card
I stamped my images using the Simply Gorjuss Ladybird Urban Stamp set and coloured in using promarkers. I layered up papers from the Simply Gorjuss paper stack and embellished with ribbon from the Simply Gorjuss range, a 'With Love' sentiment and white pearl gems from my stash. The card is A5 size white cardstock.

Baby Cards
A few baby cards I've made. All my cards are available in any colour scheme. I'm happy to personalize any baby card with the details of babies birth like in Ollie's card above. This can be as the main feature of the card as I did for Ollie's or can be added on a panel inside the card allowing for a picture on the front. I can also add babies name to the front of the card along with a picture/stamp/diecut etc. If you wanted to include a photo of the new baby I can do that too.

Wedding Cards
A couple of wedding cards I've made. Custom orders and personalized for the bride and groom. The teddy in top hat design is coloured with pro markers by me and so can be matched to the colour scheme of the wedding or just the colour you think they would like. The bears are layered onto an embossed panel and the card is finished off with matching gems.
The larger teddy design was a one off design and was embellished with glitter, gems and flowers.
